We have lots of ideas how to make our school more eco-friendly. But not everything is easy to accomplish just yet. The first thing we want to do is create awareness. Therefore we planed four ecological days at our school.

Older studens gave to younger students the plants they've been cultivating. They talked about how to take care of the plants and the importance of being responsible so everyone in the school can enjoy this wonderful project.
One of our big projects finally is going through! In cooperation with the Gemüseackerdemie Germany, we planted our school garden.
The kids of the 5th grade planted the new vegetables with their teachers and parents and painted signs for every plant. They will care for the school garden during their first year of school. Afterwards the next 5th graders will be responsible. They also will have class in the garden. Maths, biology, geography ... no problem!
Our school was involved in an action during which pupils collected old batteries. The whole school was involved. In the end, we managed to collect 21 kilograms of old batteries. They were then given to a company that recycles old batteries. We are very proud of our pupils and plan to participate in this action next year.
A moving school garden!
This day students in the school cronstucted together a moving garden. We went to the roof and we worked together constructing the platforms to put some plants on. It was a great experience and we had lots of fun!
